The cycling centre continues to grow from strength to strength thanks to our passion for delivering accessible cycling.

91.6% of visitors say they would recommend our service to others.

We now deliver on average 250 individual sessions per month to children and young people in the Oldham area.  We’ve even got cyclists coming to the centre from other areas to try out our multitude of adapted and non-adapted bikes.

100% of visitors to the centre rate the friendliness of our team as ‘good’.

Group sessions have increased as well.  Local schools and community groups visit us on average 24 times a month and some of the hardier groups come rain or shine!

92.8% of visitors rate the overall experience as ‘good’.

Since our cycling lessons were introduced they’ve become so popular we’re now full and have a waiting list of children, young people and adults keen to learn or improve their cycling skills.

22 learners have received their ‘New Cyclist’ certificate in the past 12 months.  On average it has taken learners with additional needs 4 months to reach their goal of riding a two-wheeled bike unaided.  However, some learners pass as quickly as 3 weeks while others may take longer than 4 months.  All lessons are tailored to the individual learner’s needs and level of learning at a pace they are comfortable with.

Each of the users of the centre are asked to fill out an evaluation form to comment on their experience with us.  This gives us the chance to acknowledge the great work our team are doing but also shows us if any changes or improvements need to be made.

This way we can make sure that every child, young person or adult's visit to the centre is the best experience it can be.  Check out some of the comments from our users below:
