Bev Campbell I am very happy to be joining the POINT family. I have worked in customer care for over 20 years, within the travel industry, education, and more recently for the NHS as a Peer Trainer at a mental health recovery college. As a person with lived experience, I was able to support and empower my students through their recovery journeys by delivering a variety of health and wellbeing courses that would build their confidence to lead a ‘normal’. So, I understand how important it is to have a friendly, helpful and non-judgemental voice at the other end of the telephone. On a personal level, I am a very proud aunty and love spending time with my family and friends. Recently, my nephew has been diagnosed with Dyspraxia. I also have an Uncle that has a brain injury, which has changed his life completely but as a family we give them both lots of love and support. In my spare time, I am hoping to become a volunteer for the National Youth Advocacy Service as an Independent Visitor to provide support and friendship to a young person in care. I am very passionate about helping people and look forward to helping families and young people in the Oldham community in my new role as a Helpline Operative on the SEND Helpline.
