I am a parent of an adult daughter diagnosed with Rett Syndrome, a rare neurological disorder affecting mainly females, and characterised by profound and multiple physical, learning & communication disabilities.

I have had an interest in all ability cycling for many years and was delighted when Oldham opened a centre (now Ability Wheelz) and have been a volunteer since 2011.

I was a founder member & treasurer of OSCA for over 10 years and have a background in accounts, finance & audit, and payroll management.

My spare time is spent mountain biking, caring for my elderly mother who has mid-stage Alzheimer's, and helping friends negotiate the adult social services direct payments minefield.
