Hi I'm Megan.

I joined the POINT team in March 2017 as a co-ordinator within Oldham’s SEND Workshops & Training Service. Previously I studied Psychology with Clinical Psychology (BSc) at the University of Kent.

I developed a particular interest in biological and neuropsychology and an appreciation of the diversity of the human brain and mind. I decided I wanted to help make a difference to people who are affected by or may face challenges as a result of neurological and/or developmental differences. I went on to obtain a Master’s degree in Clinical Neuropsychology (MSc) from the University of Leiden in the Netherlands, and gained experience working in school supporting children with autism, and in a neurorehabilitation centre supporting adults with acquired brain injury.

Now as one of the team here at POINT I am pleased to be part of a great support network for local families and children; and to be meeting and working with a wide range of people from a variety of backgrounds.
