POINT are delighted to announce that founder member and SENDIASS Service Manager Elaine Robinson has been named as 'Woman of Oldham 2018'

Elaine attended the prestigious Woman of Oldham luncheon which took place at the White Hart, Lydgate on 26th September 2018 as she knows all too well the tremendous support that the Woman of Oldham committee give to local charities across Oldham, but was unaware that she had been nominated for this years accolade.

Speaking after the event Elaine said "It was a complete shock! I had no idea I had been nominated and was delighted just to support the fantastic work of this group. Even when the nomination was read, I didn't realise at first they were talking about me!"

Elaine went on to say "Receiving this award is really humbling. I love supporting families of children with additional needs and disabilities to get the best support and there is nothing more rewarding than seeing the children and young people I work with achieve their aspirations."

Elaine has been inundated with messages of congratulations from families, colleagues and external partners since the award. This is very well deserved recognition for Elaine's hard work and dedication. POINT are delighted to have her as a colleague, friend and supporter.
