I joined the POINT team in March 2017.  Previously I’d worked for a local support group who organised trips/activities for children and young people with Autism.  I’d heard about the great work that POINT were doing with families so when the chance of a job came up I was really keen to apply.

My family has had their own share of struggles with additional needs and I wish I’d had the support of POINT back when I needed it.  I’ve learnt so much in my time working with Elaine and I've now achieved my IPSEA Level 3 SEN Law training.  This means I can support and empower parents/carers and young people during their SEND journey.
