Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) replaced statements of Special Educational Needs and Learning Difficulty Assessments (LDAs).

They bring a child or young person’s Educational, Health and Social Care needs together into one place. This means that provision to meet the needs of each individual child or young person is co-ordinated, with a clear focus on raising aspirations and delivering better outcomes.
